How The Conker Came To Life
“Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not exist, design it.”
Sir Henry Royce
We at Conker Living have a strong belief that everything should be designed and manufactured with solid engineering foundations. Our combined engineering experience spans three decades from car body repairs to automotive and aerospace engineering. We are very fortunate to have a chartered engineering team that has prestigious heritage from Rolls-Royce, Bentley Motors, Lotus Cars and Airbus.
We aspire to bring automotive and aerospace engineering standards to the construction industry. By using these principles, we have already achieved and exceeded building regulations multiple times. In addition, our collaboration with Keele University has brought a new framework into play where the building is designed around the user, rather than the other way around. This is known as “User Centred Design” which allows us to be efficient in design from the onset.
The Conker™ was born in 2015 through the knowledge that a building should be beautiful, aerodynamic, strong and versatile. We envisaged a contemporary, state of the art, desirable environment which could be adapted and personalised without limitation. A sphere was the natural choice due to its streamlined and structural properties.
We are now witnessing the growth of The Conker™ in various locations across the UK and are excited by its unchartered potential linking the rest of the world.
